DEBCC Celebrating 4 Years at Annual Gala
Deerfield Country Club —Thursday marked the success of our 4th annual gala fundraiser, and we couldn’t have done it without you! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making the event truly special. From the captivating performances to the impactful keynote, the evening was a reflection of the community’s support and dedication to Black business excellence.
The night began with a stirring rendition of “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” performed by the incredibly talented Kerriann Otaño, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. Attendees were then treated to a surprise performance from the renowned Jacci McGhee and Chris Bruce, who brought down the house with their powerful duet of “Make It Last Forever.” Their performance was a beautiful reminder of the joy and unity this event fosters every year.
The dynamic keynote address by Michele Ghee was another standout moment of the evening. Michele’s words resonated deeply with the audience, as she shared insights on leadership, resilience, and the importance of supporting Black businesses. Her inspiring speech left a lasting impact on everyone in attendance.
Throughout the evening, we celebrated the excellence of Black-owned businesses with a series of awards, recognizing the hard work and achievements of entrepreneurs who continue to uplift our community. The gala was also a time to unwind, as attendees enjoyed dancing and networking, creating a sense of togetherness that reflects the mission of the Delaware Black Chamber of Commerce.
Thank you to everyone who made this event a success. Your participation and generosity are what drive our mission forward, and we look forward to seeing you at next year’s gala!
